The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is hosting a training session for volunteers who will be supporting students with language learning disabilities and/or English language learners (including Syrian newcomers) using Assistive Technology (Read & Write Google) in the classroom.
Date: March 2, 2017
Tme: 1:00- 3:30pm
Location: OCDSB head office 133 Greenbank Road in our mobile lab (Room A431). (see map on right side)
You will need to sign in at the main reception and use a badge to reach Room A431 on the second floor.
REGISTRATION is required on Eventbrite and limited to 20 volunteers.
NOTE: if you have not received your Police Background Clearance prior to the workshop date, you can attend the workshop but will not be allowed to volunteer until you have met all requirements of the screening process.
